Companion Care

Description

Aging in place has become a great option for seniors as they are choosing to remain at home in their golden years instead of moving to a nursing home or assisted living facility.  While aging in place does give seniors more independence in their daily lives, it can sometimes be lonely and isolating for some, especially those who live alone and far from family and friends.  Seniors who live alone can benefit from having a social companion as well as someone who can provide the daily care and assistance they may need.

Our caregivers build a personal relationship with our seniors and become a social companion for them while also providing personal care and assistance. Each of our caregivers is certified and insured and has passed a background check so you can trust them to provide quality care for your loved ones and treat them with compassion and respect.

Companion care services include:

Personal Care:

We can help seniors who need personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) including dressing, bathing, transferring, eating, toileting, and more.

Companionship:

It is important for seniors who live alone to have regular social interaction to help prevent loneliness and depression. Our caregivers will be a social companion for your loved one and will get to know them through friendly conversation and strengthen the bond by engaging them in the activities they love.

Meal Preparation:

Our caregivers can prepare meals for seniors making sure we follow their dietary restrictions. We can also make preparing meals into a fun activity with your loved one.

Light Housekeeping:

We can help keep the home clean and tidy by taking care of light housekeeping duties such as dusting, vacuuming, changing linens, laundry, washing dishes, and taking out the trash.

Transportation and Errands:

We can provide rides for seniors who do not drive to help them get to doctor appointments and other important events. We can also help with errands such as grocery shopping.
